We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the app, and limited technical information that helps us operate and improve the service.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to provide the GluAI service, support users, and improve the app over time.

• To analyze meal photos and generate nutrition-related estimates and summaries.
• To save your history, preferences, and account settings.
• To operate, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot the app.
• To understand product usage and improve features, speed, and reliability.
• To respond to support requests, questions, and feedback.
• To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

3. How Meal Photos and Nutrition Estimates Are Handled

Meal photos and the resulting estimates are core to the product. Saved meal history and analysis results are stored on your device by default. If you enable sync, that saved app data is also synced to your private iCloud account through Apple's CloudKit service.

When you request AI analysis, the selected meal photo and related request data are sent to GluAI's backend for processing. Analysis images may be stored temporarily in GluAI's Cloudflare infrastructure and are deleted automatically according to our retention policy.

GluAI is designed as a lifestyle product. The app is not intended to provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and nutrition outputs should be understood as estimates rather than guaranteed clinical measurements.

4. When We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in limited situations such as the following:

• With service providers that help us host, secure, analyze, or support the app.
• With vendors that process data on our behalf to provide core app functionality.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid government request.
• To protect the rights, safety, security, and integrity of GluAI, our users, or the public.
• As part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain your account, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and how it is used.

6. Your Choices

• You can choose whether to submit meal photos and other optional content.
• You may be able to access, update, or delete certain account information from within the app.
• You can manage device permissions, including camera and notification access, in your device settings.
• You can choose whether to enable or disable iCloud sync within the app.
• You can limit certain analytics or marketing communications where those options are offered.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

GluAI is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

9. International Processing

Depending on where you use GluAI, your information may be processed or stored in countries other than your own. Where required, we will use reasonable measures intended to protect information during those transfers.
